MAIKEUL (Mickaël), born in the mid-90s, is an artist whose work reflects a life shaped by diverse cultures across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. His art weaves together these influences, transforming experiences and emotions into a singular artistic language.

From an early age, he developed a passion for drawing, exploring forms and textures with a unique sensitivity. In 2015, he graduated in design from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. Since then, his work has evolved into a unique expression of his diverse experiences, blending cultural influences and personal exploration into a distinctive artistic journey.

At the crossroads of minimalism and expressionism, his work is a quest for balance between abstraction and narration. He draws inspiration from the timeless elegance of Leonardo da Vinci, the striking simplicity of Keith Haring, the emotional intensity of Kees van Dongen, the dreamlike poetry of Marc Chagall, and the passionate flamboyance of Gustav Klimt.
